Sports Massage

On your first appointment lasts for approximatly 45 minutes. It will involve the therapist taking a detailed history regarding your current complaint and any relevant previous episodes.

The treatment may be focused on a particular area, for example your legs if you are preparing for a marathon, or the approach may be more global if you simply feel generally stiff.

If your sports massage therapist feels that you would respond better with a different approach then they will discuss the other potential treatment approaches with you.

Sports Massage is a great way to prepare and enhance performance. We have a number of athletes who use weekly sports massage treatments to enable them to continue performing at their best. Equally as importantly Sports Massage is an effective tool in the rehabilitation following over-strain or injury.
